“Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” presents its season finale , the second without the founding members of the show, Jim and Elizabeth Carroll. The network teased that one couple decided to walk away from the relationship. Whether or not it’s related to what occurs at the boot camp house the night before is an open question.
In the finale “You Booze, You Lose”, the house gets trashed, which has happened before on the show. Since there are always security guards on the set to help breakup the inevitable physical altercations; it’s rare that anyone really gets hurt. In the sneak peek video clip posted below watch Dr. V talk to Renee the morning after a bad night with Joe.
Notice that she explains what set off an alcohol-fueled tirade by Joe. Once again, the lie detector results do their job. Joe was called out by Judge Lynn Toler for using “counter measures” when he answered a question about cheating on Renee. No one calls Joe a liar, even if he is. But, it was Renee who used physical violence, and Dr. V. only has the cliché, “You know that doesn’t solve anything”, to comfort her. Oy!
A regular feature of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” is a night out prior to the final day when the couples are asked to recommit to their relationships. It’s girls-only and boys-only and we’ve seen in the past that relationships can crater based on what happens at the club. Some of the boot campers use it as a way to release pent up emotions about the process; others use it as revenge for what they’ve heard. It’s a tricky thing to maneuver, particularly if someone is encouraged or challenged to go wild.
So, is it the Renee-John relationship that goes up in smoke? Do you recall why they chose to participate? “Mob Wives” star, Renee Graziano and boyfriend Joey Gambino have been secretly dating for 2 years, keeping their relationship hidden from Renee’s dad, notorious mobster Anthony Graziano. Renee thinks Joey is ashamed of her but perhaps Joey is afraid of how her legendary dad will react. Additionally, Renee’s past battles with an abusive ex continue to affect her relationship with Joey.
