“Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” Season 7 has reached the sex-puppet role-playing episode. In the next show, airing Friday night February 10, titled, “I’m Too Sexy For My Dirt”, the sometimes brazen, ego driven reality TV personalities get a little shy. In the sneak peek video clip posted below, watch as the over-the-top personality, Renee Graziano, turns red from embarrassment, and opens up about why. (Throwback moment: Tara Reid and Dean May’s disastrous puppet problem)
When asked to act out their intimate times in front of the group, using puppets, the most vocal of reality stars can be shy, or very uncomfortable; then there was the incident with Tara Reid and pretend boyfriend Dean May. Reid and May were still trying to hide their scamming of the show from their fellow boot campers and then hosts-counselors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll.
“Marriage Boot Camp” has seen a transformation from a show dedicated to married couples with problems, to something more akin to a Maury Povich episode, except it lasts a season, not just one day. There was last season’s “throuple” and of course various couples who either never married or never intended to. But with Reid and May, the show hit the bottom from which it has yet to recover.
Tara and Dean were cruising through the season, doing as best as they could to make-believe they were lovers in a romantic relationship. When it got to the sex puppet exercise Tara fled the scene, with Dean trying to cover for her. When confronted in her bedroom by Jim and Elizabeth, Reid lied, saying she was terrified of puppets, sort of an extension of the clown-fear that many people have.
