WE tv announced the lineup for season 6 of “Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars”, mere days after the explosive season 5 finale during which Tara Reid and Dean May were shown the door. It was a first for the series and didn’t cast the two of them in the best light.
What were they thinking? It’s still unclear, because of conflicting versions of the truth. Best friends of more than a decade entered the boot camp house as a romantic couple, although Tara had to be dragged off a set where she was filming to make her entrance on day one, missing the first role-playing exercise.
When you think about that and her explanation that she agreed to do the show to help Dean deal with financial difficulties, maybe she thought her participation wasn’t necessary for him to get his paycheck. Dean said he signed the contract as a favor to Tara who told him she wanted to do it.
It was truly a first for the show to have someone scam the system like that, but it looks like it will get topped with the introduction of what is being called a “throuple”. Check out the video preview clip posted below to listen to a female voice ask, “Why can’t I have a husband and a wife?”
Remember in season 3 when Aubrey O’Day used to fight with Travis about her girlfriend and what Travis thought was undue influence on her and consequentially the relationship? We’re thinking it’s more odd than that. Here’s who decided to put themselves through the wringer to save their relationships: Jade and Tanner (“Bachelor in Paradise”), Karen and Storm (“Mob Wives”), Keke and Michael (“R&B Divas: Atlanta”) and Jim and Amber (“Real Housewives of New Jersey”. We’ll have to wait until closer to the premiere date in October to learn the identity of the “throuple”. Any guesses? VH-1 says it has more than a hint. Here’s their take.
