Toya Wright On ‘The Real’ Opens Up About Murder of Two Brothers, Divorce and Lil Wayne (VIDEO)

Toya Wright opens up Wednesday September 14 on “The Real”, about the recent turmoil and tragedy in her life. It’s season premiere week on the show and on Monday, Adrienne Bailon sat down for the first interview with her fiancé, Gospel musician, Israel Houghton.  R&B songstress Monica, opened up about working on a new record and the drama between her and Brandy!

The big news continues with the ladies of “The Real” welcoming Toya Wright. In the video clip posted below, watch her begin to verbalize what it’s like to learn that two of your siblings were killed in a senseless act, how she dealt with going to the hospital and who identified the bodies. She calls her pain, something “…..that I don’t think I ever felt in my life. I just got numb.”  Preview Bryshere “Yazz” Gray on the show, Friday Sept. 16.

Toya has had a difficult year, even before the tragic death of her brothers. She and husband Mickey “Memphitz” Wright spent time on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars”. The couple didn’t hold back, pulling back the curtain on their lives and marital problems for public scrutiny. It was enlightening and sad to learn about Mickey’s realization that he wasn’t meant to be married if he had to restrain himself in order to respect his wife.

It isn’t all sadness and going deep during Toya’s visit. She also reveals the cover of her new book, “In My Own Words: My Reality” and discusses her ex-husband Lil Wayne. He flew to her side when he heard of her tragic loss, and was particularly close to her brother Rudy, who lived with him for a while.

THE REAL is a daily, one-hour Emmy® nominated talk show on Fox Television Stations and in national syndication (check local listings), with a rebroadcast on cable network BET. Led by bold, diverse and outspoken hosts – Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley — these women reflect the home audience and unapologetically say what women are actually thinking. Their unique perspectives are brought to life through their candid conversations about topics ranging from their own personal lives to the news of the day to beauty, fashion and relationships.
